First month down and we haven't returned her yet!

Things have been progressing well, Sequoia seems to be on the verge of smiling from all the stupid faces and sounds i make, but still mostly stares at me like some kind of alien. She has been plumping up the last week, we visited the midwives yesterday, and they verified it, 10lbs 6oz!  michelin man legs and a double chin.

less words more photos right, so lets get to it.

The Many Faces of Sequoia

She may not speak, or hold eye contact, or see more than 30 cm in front of her, but already she is expressing herself in her face, albeit involuntarily.  Our task is to decipher these...

Now that things are following a schedule....sort of

Its been 2 weeks today with this little wiggly (but beautiful) creature has been taking up ALL of our time. What that means is that there is somewhat of a schedule emerging thus allowing me time to start up this blog.

For the most part Sequoia is wanting to be fed every two hours or so, but she usually falls asleep during the feedings thus extending Claudia and her sessions to close to an hour.

For the last week night times are getting better, she is allowing us to get a little more sleep, me more than Claudia unfortunately.  Sometimes she has been going 4 hours before letting us know she's hungry.

Well I think this blog will be used more for photos and quick notes of milestones and unusual events, than a day by day report on feedings and pooping.

So if you have any questions or request, just leave a comment!
One mit, our little wiggler wont keep these on while sleeping to stop scratching her face.

Aida loves her, gets a little concerned by the crying but she loves giving kisses to her ears and feet.

Plans for today, catching up on sleep. For Sequoia...eat, burp, sleep, poop, pee, and repeat.
